World Water Day: Sewage water turns into drinking water | DW News

March 22 is International Water Day. Many countries, especially in Africa, suffer from water scarcity. Namibia lies between two major deserts but a project there has pioneered a way to turn sewage water into clean drinking water. DW’s Dianne Hawker reports from Windhoek.

Henry Roman, regional representative for Southern Africa at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) shares deeper insight into the problem and its possible solutions.
