Blamed For Fuelling US Fentanyl Crisis, Drug Lord El Chapo's Son Ovidio Guzman Extradited

Mexican drug lord El Chapo’s son Ovidio Guzman was extradited to the US on Sept. 15 in a big win for Washington’s war on the Fentanyl crisis. Ovidio Guzman, son of imprisoned drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, will face fentanyl trafficking charges in the US. Ovidio’s extradition is seen as a boost for the Biden administration’s push to curb the spread of the deadly opioid. The US Attorney General said the extradition was the latest step in American efforts to attack “every aspect” of the drug trafficking racket. Merrick Garland said that this drug trafficking operation is run by the Sinaloa Cartel long associated with the Guzman family. Watch this video to know more.
