Iran Denies 11 IRGC Deaths, Israel Strikes Aleppo Airport In Syria, Hamas Slams US Role In Gaza War

Israel carried out an airstrike on Aleppo airport on Dec. 30, causing some damage, according to the Syrian defence ministry. The airport has previously been targeted in alleged Israeli strikes during the conflict. Israeli attacks on the Aleppo and Damascus airports in October put both out of service. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has denied a report that 11 of its members were killed in an alleged Israeli airstrike in Syria. Gaza’s Health Ministry says Israeli strikes have killed 21,672 Palestinians, while 56,165 people have been wounded in Gaza since October 7. Hamas’ military wing, Al Qassam Brigades, says it continues to fight Israeli forces in many parts of Gaza, including the Bureij camp in the centre. The World Health Organization has said that nine hospitals in the south and four in the north of the besieged coastal enclave are operational. One Israeli has been wounded in a fresh car-ramming attack at a military position in the southern West Bank, Israel’s military said.
