Thousands Of Pilgrims Flock To Ukraine For Jewish New Year

Around 30,000 Hasidic Jewish pilgrims from around the world travelled to Ukraine to pay homage at the final resting place of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, the founder of Breslov Hasidism, as part of a celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, on September 15. The Hasidic Jewish pilgrims, many traveling from Israel and further afield, flocked to Uman, a small city in central Ukraine.
