The trial of a 100-year-old former concentration camp guard has begun in Germany.

Josef Schuetz is the oldest person to be tried for Nazi-era crimes.

He is accused of knowingly and willingly helping in the murder of more than 3,000 prisoners.

Al Jazeera’s Dominic Kane reports from the Sachsenhausen camp.
