Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, it’s officially time to play Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You on repeat and deck the halls for the holidays. This year, rather than opting for an über-traditional red-and-green color scheme, we turned to none other than Los Angeles–based interior designer Emily Henderson for inspired tips on decorating a festive yet stylish home for the season. For those who might not be aware, Henderson just so happens to love the holidays. She recently revealed that she’d skip straight from Halloween to Christmas if it were socially acceptable.

To show us how to really deck the halls, we tasked the talented designer a challenge. We asked Henderson to show us exactly how she’d decorate her entire home—from the entryway to the dining room—for the holidays using only products from Target and with a budget of only $100 per room. As expected, she did not disappoint. In fact, we predict that you’re going to want to add every item to your cart (which, if you did, would only set you back $400).
