US President Joe Biden asked Israel to ensure new humanitarian aid reaches the Palestinians in Gaza without delay. Biden signed a massive military aid bill for Israel, which also included $1 billion in humanitarian aid for Gaza. Biden said the United States was helping replenish Israel’s air defense so that “Iran can never carry out the destruction it intended with this attack ten days ago.” Meanwhile, the European Union sought an independent probe into Palestinian allegations of mass graves discovered at two Gaza hospitals destroyed during Israeli operations.
