– The death toll from the Baltimore bridge collapse now stands at six. Divers have recovered the data recorder from the cargo ship which crashed into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key bridge. Now a major US port is out of action.

– Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cancelled talks in Washington when the US decided not to veto a UN call for a cease-fire in Gaza. Are those talks now back on?

– And: Thailand moves a step closer to allowing same-sex marrige. The lower house of parliament backs an equality bill. If approved by the senate, Thailand would become the first south east Asian nation to recognize same-sex unions.
