Pakistan is set to go to the polls, but some are questioning how free and fair the election will be.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been disqualified from running, and has received three prison sentences this week, while his party the PTI has had its electoral symbol removed from the ballot – resulting in its members running as independent candidates.

The PTI claims there has been a campaign of intimidation, abduction and harassment against them, which authorities in Pakistan deny.
