At least 8,306 Palestinians, including 3,457 children, have been killed in Israeli attacks since Oct. 7, Gaza’s Health Ministry has said. In the West Bank, the number of people killed since 7 October has risen to 121, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Israel’s Opposition Leader Yair Lapid says he told the government that he would support any effort to return hostages from Gaza. Iran said that the attacks on US forces in Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East were a result of “wrong American policies” including support for Israel.
