Iranian singer charged after protest song about Mahsa Amini | SBS News

An Iranian singer whose protest song went viral has been charged by the country’s Cyber police.

Following the death of Mahsa Amini, Iranians posted messages on social media to express their concerns for the social and political state of the country.

Singer Shervin Hajipour used protesters’ tweets to create the song ‘For…’’, which he posted to Instagram on 27 September.
