In world news and current events today, North Korea has bombed the joint liaison office that served as a neutral zone for talks with their neighboring country the Republic of Korea, also known as South Korea.

Under the rule of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, North Korea and South Korea have continued to exist in an uneasy state of hostility, with the bombing of the Korean joint liaison office as the latest in a string of attacks from North Korean forces against South Korean installations. Kim Jong Un and North Korea continue to threaten democracy in the Republic of Korea, and despite small gestures towards peace, Kim Jong Un’s North Korea continues to provoke and escalate its democratic neighbor.
