In US news and current events today, hundreds of dogs came out to support this terminally ill pup on one of his last walks with his owner.

Marley, a 7-year-old black cocker spaniel, was diagnosed with
hemangiosarcoma a ‘very aggressive’ & deadly form of cancer in November 2019.

Marley had surgery to remove his spleen and a tumor, but doctors said his cancer was untreatable. His owner, Ashleigh Murray,
decided to celebrate her dog’s life by organizing a dog walk.

More than 300 people and their puppies showed up to Marley’s Big walk on Jan 18 at a park near Belfast Ireland.

Marley’s Big Walk was held at Crawfordsburn Country Park, which Murray says is one of Marley’s ‘favorite places.’ Murray said she
organized the walk to show Marley how much she loved him.

The walk also raised approx $800 USD for The Dogs Trust, a charity in Ireland that rehabilitates and finds homes for dogs. A pet store also donated free balls and treats for the dogs.

As of Jan 22, Marley was on pain medication for tumors in his lungs.
