French President Emmanuel Macron pays state visit to Germany, accompanied by Brigitte Macron. This is the first state visit by a French president in 24 years. It was first planned in early July 2023 but was reported because of days of violent unrest in France. On the first day, Emmanuel Macron will hold events in Berlin in the company of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

– 1420 GMT Welcome with military honors by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Elke Büdenbender at Bellevue Palace
