Eli was just a few years old when his parents were told he would be in a wheelchair by the age of nine and that his life expectancy would be early 20s.

He was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a condition that gradually causes the muscles to weaken, leading to an increasing level of disability.

An assistive technology has now given the 16-year-old the potential to keep playing music longer.

And he has been given the chance to perform at America’s music, tech and film festival.
