Netanyahu Asks IDF to Probe Drill Simulating Settler Kidnapping, UN Warning on Rafah

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has sought “answers and an IDF investigation” into a drill that simulated settlers kidnapping Palestinians. Far-right minister Ben Gvir said that “portraying the settlers as the enemy and the Palestinians as the victim” is “moral blindness”. Protesters near the Kerem Shalom crossing in Israel attempted to block the entrance of humanitarian aid into Gaza again on Feb. 6. UNRWA has said that its probe on employees allegedly involved on Oct. 7 is due in early March. An IDF commander gave a video tour of the home, showing where the soldiers found the UN vest and the gun. Houthis warned of escalating attacks in the Red Sea if Israel doesn’t half its war in Gaza. Israeli authorities are reviewing military plans for an attack on southern Rafah, a city housing millions of displaced Gazans. About 1.4 million people are sheltering in Rafah after being ordered to “safe zones” there by Israeli forces. Watch this video to know what’s latest in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
