PRCS Worker Killed In Israeli Gunfire In Khan Younis, Hamas Wants Permanent Ceasefire In Gaza

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed the killing of a female employee due to Israeli gunfire in Khan Younis. Palestinian news agency Wafa said three civilians were killed and three others injured today, including a PRCS employee. At least 27,131 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israeli attacks since October 7, the Gaza Health Ministry said. A UN official described the situation at Rafah as a “pressure cooker of despair”. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) says it killed many Hamas gunmen and raided the militant group’s sites in the central Gaza area. Hamas official Osama Hamdan has said that the group seeks the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners being held and a permanent ceasefire. Iraq’s pro-Iran al-Nujaba movement says it intends to press on with attacks on US forces in the Middle East. Watch this video to know what’s latest in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
