He is the co-founder and Executive Vice President of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft – which is a DC based think tank that opposes the Military Industrial complex and advocates for restraint in US foreign policy. Trita is also the founder and former president of the National Iranian American Council which looked to promote a greater understanding between the American and Iranian people. Trita is the author of several books including “Treacherous Alliance: The Secret Dealings of Israel, Iran, and the United States”. “A Single Roll of the Dice: Obama’s Diplomacy with Iran” and his latest book, “Losing an Enemy, Obama, Iran and the triumph of Diplomacy.”
