Red Sea Mayhem As Houthis Attack Same Ship Twice | Israel To Ease Gaza Naval Blockade | Hamas War

Maersk has confirmed a second attack on its Hangzhou merchant vessel in the southern Red Sea on Dec. 31. Four small boats originating from “Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen” attacked the Maersk Hangzhou with small arms, CENTCOM said. The attackers attempted to board the merchant vessel, CENTCOM added. A source told AFP that the American forces killed at least 10 fighters when it sank the three boats. At least 21,822 people have been killed in Gaza and 56,451 injured in Israeli attacks since October 7, the Gaza Health Ministry has said. Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen says that the Israeli government bears responsibility for Hamas’s attack on October 7.
