Eight months of civil war in Sudan | BBC News

More than eight months of civil war in Sudan has caused one of the world’s largest displacements of people.

More than six and a half million people have left their homes, with aid agencies struggling to access the areas where the fighting has occurred.

The conflict began in April with a political fallout between two generals – pitting the army against the paramilitary group known as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

The BBC speaks to one family who have been trapped for months in the crossfire.
