Israel is expanding its ground and air offensive across the Palestinian territory, ordering civilians to leave Khan Younis. Many people already displaced by weeks of fighting are having to move again. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on members of Hamas in Gaza to surrender. Hamas is deemed a terror organization by the US, Germany, and EU, among others.
