The World Health Organization (WHO) said a humanitarian assessment team visited Al Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza on Nov 19. The WHO-led team of public health experts and security staff from various UN departments was able to spend only an hour inside the hospital. It described the hospital as a “death zone” and said the situation was “desperate” with the hospital basically not functioning as a medical facility. This is as the Israeli army also released security camera footage of what they say were Hamas bringing in hostages from Israel into the hospital. Watch the video to find out more.
