German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shym-eh-hal are attending a German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin today. The event focuses on rebuilding Ukraine – a task that’s obviously very challenging, given that Russian attacks on the country are continuing.
Due to intense artillery fire, authorities in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson have now ordered a forced evacuation of children. Officials say that more than 800 children are expected to be moved to safer areas. Ukraine says that Russian forces have been shelling civilian infrastructure there incessantly.
