The UN Security Council is holding a session on the Middle East, including addressing the Palestinian question. The session follows a failed UN proposed resolution last week calling for a cease-fire tabled by Brazil. Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira will chair the debate. There are suggestions that a fresh vote on a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Israel and Gaza could take place.
