What we know about the Gaza hospital explosion | DW News

Arab leaders have pulled out of a planned summit with US President Joe Biden amid outrage over a deadly hospital strike in Gaza. The Hamas-led health ministry in Gaza says 500 people have been killed. Israeli authorities have denied responsibility for the explosion which rocked the al-Ahli hospital, suggesting that a faulty rocket fired by Palestinian militants themselves was to blame. The claim could not be independently verified and Palestinian Islamic Jihad — designated a terrorist group by Israel, the EU and the US among others — has denied the accusation.
