First UN Mission To Nagorno-Karabakh In 30 Years, 100k Armenians Flee Over Fears Of Ethnic Cleansing

Armenia said on September 30 that 100,417 displaced persons had arrived from Nagorno-Karabakh.
Speaking at a news briefing, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, press secretary of the Armenian Prime Minister, said the government had already provided free housing to more than 32.2 thousand forced migrants.
Three-hundred-and-sixty-one patients from Nagorno-Karabakh, were now being treated in medical institutions in Armenia, Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said during the briefing.
The majority of patients, 221 people, were victims of the gas explosion near Stepanakert, she said.
The minister also reported 14 deaths during the evacuation and in hospitals during all the days of movement of citizens.
