Several explosions were heard in Kyiv after Ukraine’s Air Force warned that Russia had launched cruise missiles towards the country. At least one person was killed in the Russian drone attack on the Izmail district of Odesa Oblast. On September 5, Russian forces shot down a Ukrainian drone in a village where President Putin has a residence, according to reports. Russian mercenary group Wagner will be declared a terrorist organisation by the UK. The US has warned leader Kim Jong Un that North Korea would pay a price for supplying Russia with weapons to use in Ukraine.
