The trial has begun in Paris of 20 people suspected of helping carry out the terror attacks that shook the city, six years ago. 130 people were killed in attacks at a football stadium, several bars, and a concert hall.
A convoy of vehicles carrying some of the accused arrived at the court complex where the trial is taking place. They include the man who is believed to be the sole surviving attacker, Salah Abdeslam.
The court case is of national significance. But for the survivors of the attacks, it brings back very personal, and painful memories. DW’s Lisa Louis filed this report.
