President Donald Trump celebrated the first 100 days of his second term at a campaign-style rally in Michigan, where he claimed he had been under investigation far longer than notorious gangster Al Capone. “I didn’t like that,” Trump said.

“We removed senior FBI officials who were corrupt and misdirected the resources they sent to SWAT teams after grandmothers and J6 ‘hostages,’” he said to the crowd in Warren, Michigan.

Under the Trump administration, the Justice Department has fired federal prosecutors who investigated participants in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, as well as officials who helped build the federal legal cases against the president.
