The Dönitz Testament – Was Hitler’s Successor President of Germany Until 1980?

In 1981, the West German government was handed a bizarre document. It was called the ‘Dönitz Testament’ and had been written by Hitler’s successor and the last leader of Nazi Germany, Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz, in 1975.
