Only three in five people believe Singapore’s roads are safe. That’s according to a survey of 1,000 residents. More than three in four respondents cited impatience as the main reason road users flout traffic rules. The findings come as authorities strengthen enforcement measures and roll out community outreach programmes during Road Safety Month to encourage safer behaviour on the roads and reduce accidents.
