Yemen’s Houthi movement has claimed attacks on targets in Aden as tensions escalate across the region, while Saudi Arabia reported missile debris falling in several areas, including near Mecca. Saudi authorities said ballistic missiles were intercepted, but the Houthis denied targeting Mecca and Medina, insisting their operations focused on military installations and oil infrastructure. Yemen’s internationally recognised government reported strikes on coast guard facilities and Aden airport amid the renewed fighting. The developments raise fresh concerns over regional security, aviation and the wider conflict involving Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
