The far-right Alternative for Germany party is celebrating after seeing huge gains in two German regional elections. Party co-leader Tino Chrupalla said the AfD will keep winning and called on Chancellor Friedrich Merz to resign. Early exit polls show the AfD is on track to win almost 38% of the vote in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, beating the governing Social Democrats at around 36%. And in the city-state of Berlin, it is expected to win 16.2%, a gain of 7%, making it the third most popular party. #dwnews
