Death toll jumps to 90 in coal mine blast in China’s Shanxi province

An explosion at the Liushenyu coal mine in Shanxi province, China, has killed at least 90 people, with nine still missing. The blast occurred at about 7.30pm local time on Friday, when more than 240 workers were underground.
