Nightmare turns to reality for affluent businessman Daniel Fragoso Villalbazo when he is kidnapped outside his workplace in Mexico City. He soon finds himself beaten, blindfolded and bound in an unknown location. The captors demand an eye-watering ransom for his return so the desperate Fragoso family reach out to veteran kidnap negotiator Dr. Pablo Carstens Madero. Pablo must draw on his years of expertise to turn this terrified family into a crack crisis response team. With the kidnappers refusing to speak to anyone other than Daniel’s sister Pilar, Pablo is tasked with guiding her through the negotiation process and teaching the family in a matter of days, what he has spent years perfecting. As the threats of violence grow and with time running out, can the Fragoso family pull together and save their brother?
