Witnesses to the aftermath of a fire that tore through a crowded bar in a Swiss ski resort on Thursday (January 1) described what they saw, including people screaming and some of the dozens of people feared killed lying on the ground.

The fire began at about 1.30am in the Constellation bar in Crans-Montana on Thursday, police said.
Authorities have said the incident is not being treated as terrorism.
