AISF activist Aamir Kazi speaks to The Free Press Journal about being repeatedly detained by police over the past few months, including occasions when he says he wasn’t even participating in a protest. He describes the physical toll of these encounters and how they have affected him personally.
Despite these experiences, Kazi says his political and ideological convictions remain unchanged. He explains why his faith in the Indian Constitution, civil liberties and the right to peaceful protest continues to motivate his activism.
