This week we’re diving into the geopolitical kindergarten that is Donald Trump’s decision to destabilise not just the USA, but the entire world order – and how it might just accidentally have one good outcome at least, relating to Brexit. Trump’s big pivot away from Europe, his man crush on Putin, and his outright disdain for NATO are going to have one unintended consequence: highlighting the stupidity of Brexit and pushing the UK and the EU closer together again. And who’s going to be at the centre of this messy reconciliation? None other than Sir Keir Starmer and his Labour government.
