UN Declares Famine in Gaza | Half a Million in Catastrophic Hunger
For the first time in history, the United Nations has officially declared a famine in Gaza. Over 500,000 people are already facing catastrophic hunger, with the crisis expected to spread further south in the coming weeks. By September, more than 641,000 people could be in famine conditions. UN agencies call it a man-made disaster and demand immediate ceasefire and unhindered aid access.
