Jurors in the Tupac Shakur murder trial have heard a 2008 recording in which Duane “Keffe D” Davis told detectives that his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, fired the shots that killed Tupac in Las Vegas in 1996. Davis said he was also inside the white Cadillac that pulled alongside the vehicle carrying Tupac and Death Row Records chief Marion “Suge” Knight. The recording is a key part of the prosecution’s case against Davis, who is accused of orchestrating the killing but has pleaded not guilty and whose defence disputes the reliability of his past accounts.
