Donald Trump’s young press secretary Karoline Leavitt confidently spewed nonsense about constitutional law during a recent press event—only to be swiftly and hilariously corrected on live TV by legal experts Katie Phang and Michigan AG Dana Nessel. Leavitt’s bizarre assertion that low-level federal judges can’t issue injunctions against the president had Phang calling her an “amateur constitutional lawyer,” while Nessel joked she must’ve studied law at “Trump University Online.” The mockery was swift—and well deserved.
