US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran will be “hit very hard” today, just hours after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologised to neighbouring countries for Tehran’s strikes. Mr Pezeshkian said there will be no further attacks, unless missile launches originate from Gulf states. He suggested the strikes were caused by miscommunication, adding that the killing of the supreme leader and other top officials disrupted the chain of command, which led to a loss of control within the armed forces.
