Quebec’s anti-corruption unit, UPAC, says it’s investigating leaks of sensitive data from the Economy Ministry — and whether the leaks constitute a breach of trust. The Economy Ministry has asked the unit to investigate, but opposition parties believe the Fréchette government is abusing its power in hunting for sources.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Mark Carney told reporters the bridge might not open at the end of the week as he initially said, but insisted ‘there’s no big drama.’
