Protesters in Spain have rallied against US strikes in Venezuela and the capture of President Nicolas Maduro.
Around 200 people gathered near the US Embassy in Madrid under heavy police presence.
Demonstrators called for the embassy’s closure and urged the EU to cut ties with Washington.
Placards and chants accused the US of repeated military interventions in sovereign states.
Protesters said the action was unilateral and not decided by the Venezuelan people.
They warned the operation has left Venezuela facing a deeply uncertain future.
Al Jazeera’s Camille Nedelec reports from the scene in Madrid.
