Singapore sprinter Shanti Pereira finished eighth in the women’s 200m final at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Friday (Jul 31), clocking 23.21 seconds.

The 29-year-old had made history a day earlier by becoming the first Singaporean to qualify for an individual sprint final at the Games after running a season-best 22.81 seconds in the semi-finals. #sgnews #singapore
