Some hotels in Singapore have seen bookings surge nearly 50 times for the period in December, when K-pop boyband BTS makes a tour stop here. The sharp increase matches a trend seen across Asia, with searches on Booking.com increasing up to 10 times in cities where the concert will be held. Trip.com says visitors will mostly be from Asia, with China, Japan and Hong Kong leading the charge, followed by Southeast Asia. Tickets for the Asia leg of the tour went on sale earlier this month.
