More than S$1.3 million has been raised for cancer support services at the Singapore Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. The 15-hour overnight event drew a record 6,479 participants, with organisers citing stronger youth involvement and more team sign-ups. Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng flagged off the Survivor Lap and a 100km challenge. The society says demand for support is rising as more Singaporeans live with cancer, and it plans to expand its network of cancer care navigators to better support patients and families.
