Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun a six-day visit to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand aimed at strengthening India’s strategic presence in the Indo-Pacific. Modi will also meet leaders in Australia and New Zealand to expand defence, trade and people-to-people ties. The visit reinforces India’s Act East Policy and MAHASAGAR vision while showcasing New Delhi’s growing role as a strategic, technology and security partner across the Indo-Pacific region.
