Union Minister Piyush Goyal called his three-day visit to Israel a landmark success, underscoring the strong momentum in India-Israel relations. During the visit, he signed the Terms of Reference, initiating the process for a future free trade agreement. Speaking to media upon concluding his visit, he said, “Today, India is emerging as a trusted friend and a reliable partner of the world. Our relations with different countries are improving and growing. Many free trade agreements are being finalised. This shows that today, everyone is realising that there is a benefit for both countries in increasing relations with India. The youth in India have good skills and good qualities… In a way, both countries are currently busy cashing in on the low-hanging fruit.”
