A new facility in Hougang is helping people with stable mental health conditions live more independently while providing round-the-clock nursing care for those who need greater support. Vanguard Care Home and Compass Home have more than 300 beds, with rehabilitation programmes aimed at building everyday and workplace skills. A day-care service will also open in the first quarter of next year to support those living in the community and their caregivers. Noah Kong reports.
